1. Can we meet you ma?

My name is Mosunmola Olaitan also called Mosun Exalter. I was born and brought up in Lagos, in the 90s. I schooled in Lagos and my ministry started in Lagos.

2. You're a Gospel minister, how do you use or sing hymns?

I use hymns as an expression of gratitude to God, as a message to myself and the people of God, and as a song of comfort and courage.

3. Can you tell us briefly about your ministry?

The ministry started officially in October 2016 with the mandate to minister Salvation and the joy of our Lord Jesus to every soul. Since the ministry started, God has been faithful. We have an album to our credit, we host a monthly online praise which we celebrated the 3rd year anniversary in November.

4. What has been your encounter about hymn? Tell us all you can remember.

I grew up in CAC, we sang hymns like our lives depended on it and it truly it does. There were times in church then that while we sang hymns, I'll just burst into tears because of how the words of the hymn touch my soul. At some point in time, I crammed lots of hymns so that I won't have to use the hymn book to be able to fully concentrate while singing. I still cherish hymns. I use hymns always.

5. What are your testimonies about hymn? Either in your life or during ministrations?

I have been restored through hymn. On days when I thought hope was lost, I was reassured with the words in hymns.

6. So, tell us about Hymn as a weapon of praise and weapon in the spirit realm.

Hymn as a weapon of a praise and in the spirit realm - Praise itself is a weapon, I will just say that hymn is a means by which praise is fully manifested. For every victory we get in the physical, it has been established in the spiritual. Hymn is spiritual, so is praise. Both work together achieve the desired goal.

7. Has God ever healed you of any sickness by singing hymns or anyone during your ministrations?

Yes, and I have heard testimonies of how people were healed through hymns.

8. Can hymns be used as a weapon to fight in the spiritual realm?

Yes, hymns are powerful.

9. English hymns and Yoruba hymns, which one do you prefer personally that move you?

Yoruba hymns move me because of the indepth of Yoruba Language.

10. What makes a song evergreen?

A song that inspires all the time for me, I'd say it's evergreen.

11. What do you have for the Pastors that have neglected singing hymns in their Church?

I do not have anything for them. I pray that God grants us understanding and the wisdom to know the hidden treasure in hymns.

12. How are you coping with this pandemic as a Gospel minstrel?

He who has sent us is faithful to help us even in darkest moments.

14. Some people have categorized hymns as Old School Song, may we know your opinion on that?

Hymns can never be classified as old school. They are new everyday.

15. How can Hymns be used to connect us to the throne of God just as worship does?

It may be sung or the lyrics said out in words. Either way, it connects. But the user must be one with a clean hand and a pure heart, only then he/she can see the Lord.

16. We want people to join the train and know power that lies in singing hymns, what is your word on it and how much are you ready to join us?

People should rise to the movement. As we spread the gospel of Jesus, we should let people realize the edification-ality of hymns.

17. Why do you think people ignore singing hymns?

I do not know. Everyone has their reason for the choice of songs they hear and want to hear.

18. Do you believe someone can compose hymns nowadays as the convener of this vision does?

Yes. My Father in The Lord, Pst. E.A. Adeboye composes all the hymns for the convention and HolyGhost congress.

God bless your spirit ma. What do you have for this vision ma?
