1.Can we meet you ma?

Resp:Raheem Oluwadamilola is a Music Evangelist, Song writer,

Composer, Worshiper and Praise leader.

2.Can you tell us briefly about your ministry ma?

Resp:WORSHIP SESSION WITH OLUWADAMILOLA

The name came up around February 2019, the ministry had been

working underground though but didn't get an official name until 2019. With God's leading,

there was a new strategy to come in terms with the God's vision.

3.You're music minister, how well do you use hymns?

Resp:I love hymns basically so i use it often times.Hymns are very powerful and essential for every believers.

4. What has been your encounters about Hymn. Tell us as you remember ma?

Resp:Wow, different encounters sincerely but there is a particular one that I will never forget.

When God told me about the ministry, i got scared😀 and i was like where will i start from. I started praying one day and sang a particular hymn (I am thine oh lord) as I sang it, I received all God wanted me to do and how to go about it.

5. What are your testimonies about Hymn.? Either in your life or during ministrations

Resp:Hymns birth signs and wonders, breakthrough, miracles and healing. You can use it anytime, anywhere. We share hymns on a weekly basis as well and we receive different testimonies many times. Hymns serves a great purpose and can only work for you,once you believe it. You will definitely get results regardless of whatever you use it for.

6. So, tell us the relevance of singing Hymn in our daily praise to God..

Resp:We have been mandated by God to make it a routine. It helps us to grow more in the understanding of the person of God

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

7. Has God ever heal you of any sickness by singing Hymns or any anyone during your ministrations?

Resp:As I stated earlier, that I have had many encounters via Hymn. One of which is healing.

My ministrations as well, there have been series of testimonies on healing.

8. Can Hymn be used as a weapon to fight in the spiritual realm ma?

Resp:Definitely, Hymns can be used for anything at all...

We have various hymns, each of it serves it purpose and gives instant results, once you believe it.

9. English Hymns and Yoruba Hymns, which one do you prefer personally that move you?

Resp:Wow, I prefer hymns in Yoruba. It carries a particular weight that I love so much😁🤭

The yoruba lyrics are usually powerful and heavenly.

10. what makes a song evergreen like the hymns?

Resp:The source of inspiration is what makes a song evergreen.

For a song to be evergreen, the inspiration behind it's must be GOD.

Nowadays, we have so many noise that people call Songs but after a certain time, we don't get to hear them again..

11. What do you have for the pastors that have neglected singing Hymns in their Church?

Resp:Most of our churches need revival to be able to see the purpose of hymn. We have different doctrines and knowledge of things.

However,It's a commandment from God that we should teach and admonish each other via Singing Hymns. Pastor should therefore not neglect it as they are denying their members the right of getting blessed through Hymns.

12. We are into a Hymn campaign, where we want everyone to know the power in singing Hymn, and we want you to say something about it ma?

Resp:I love this campaign and I am in full support of it...

My advice is:

Please don't stop this vision👏 as many lives are yet to know the potency in Singing Hymns.

13. How can Hymn be used to connect us to the throne of God just as worship do?

Resp:There is no song that doesn't connect us to the throne of God..

Hymns connect us to GOD as much as the normal known worship songs that we sing these days. Once you have the knowledge of the power in hymns, you can sing and connect to God anytime.

14.Some people has categorize HYMNS as OLD SCHOOL SONGS, may we know your opinion on that?

Resp:Of course not,Hymns are not Old School songs.

The Bible says in

Hosea 4 vs 6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

I believe it's because of the inability to know all that is embedded in knowing and singing hymns that is why people say that but I am sure that this Hymn campaign will enlighten more souls.

15. Do you believe someone can compose Hymns nowadays ma?

Resp:Of cos, YES..

The hymns we sing we grew up to know and that we sing till now were compose by someone as well so it's possible. The Visioneer of Let's talk about hymns compose Hymns.

16. What are those challenges you've faced as a minister and how were you able to overcome them?

Resp:Challenges are what makes us to be a better person. It's one of the training process that we will all pass through.

I have faced so many challenges like in the area of promotion, publicity and financial challenges but GOD came through as he will never give you a VISION or Ministry that he knows you can't handle. He is the source and he will always help you despite all hurdles.

17. How were you able to combine your ministry work with academics?

Resp:Well, it's not been easy though combining school and ministry.

At times, I get weighed down but one thing i never forget is that God gave me an assignment and i must carry it out when it is convenient and when it isn't.

Aside that God also blessed me with the gift of men who work together with me as part of the team.

18.What advice do you have for up and coming music ministers?

My advice is this:

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

While leaning on God, consistency and great commitment is also important. God alone will not help you, you have to play your part.
